Privacy and Collection of Personal Information

In accordance with privacy legislation, NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS) will use the personal information you provide on this site solely for the purpose of considering you for employment or updating you on employment opportunities within STARTTS. STARTTS will take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information it collects and uses, and will not disclose such information to any external organisation.

Personal information will be destroyed within six (6) months when it is no longer required for selection purposes, except where the applicant accepts a position within STARTTS. By submitting personal information to STARTTS, applicants are deemed to have consented to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information for the purposes stated above.

What Information Do We Need From You?

To be considered for employment or to receive updates on employment opportunities, you may be required to provide personal information, which includes but is not limited to:

• Your name
• Address
• Contact details
• Resume
• Education background
• Employment history
• Referees
• Working with Children Check (if applicable)
• Visa (if applicable)

If you choose not to provide any of the information requested, we may be unable to contact you, fully assess your application, or properly consider you for employment.

All information submitted must be true, accurate, and complete. You must not post or upload information that is false, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate.
